This lab is suitable for mixed signal (digital and analog) analysis, classes that require high frequency analysis or multiple signal inputs are ideal for this laboratory. All of the equipment in this lab can be interfaced with students computers utilizing the Agilent Connection Expert and MATLAB, giving the students access to arbitrary waveform creation and data collection from the oscilloscope. This lab also houses the ECOMS Laboratory Kits for use with these lab benches along with 4 soldering stations.
There are a total of 10 Lab Benches, each able to fit 2-3 students per bench. The attached classroom, 204, has seating for up to 30 students and provides outlets for each students to charge their laptops. This room also features the newly implemented white board walls along with a projector and retractable screen. Use of the projector requires a laptop with VGA or HDMI capabilities.
